Q: I recenty watch full metal jacket on dvd and now want to buy it on blu ray to play on my ps3. I was wondering whether the picture quality was very good after reaing mixed reviews. I want to buy it on blu ray over dvd but is it worth it?
A: If you already have it on DVD then why bother? There's no upgrade in audio (DD only) on BR. Aspect ratio would be a preference-- but that's it. Check out the review on the link, I've trusted this site on purchasing HD movies and gives you a pretty detailed review.
