Can you download and install Blu-ray CD software?

Q: Can you download and install Blu-ray CD software onyour computer which doesn't have any Blu-ray Disk drive and then just download blu-ray movies from torrents and watch it like a Blu-ray reader quality? THanks

A: Wow sometimes I think people answer these questions just for the points. The short answer here is no because of the size of a bluray movie. If HD quality is what your looking for, there is a lot of video communities that have started compressing bluray movies to mp4 format using the H264 codec. These play back with incredible quality compared with divx & xvid and can be found in 720P and 1080P Resolutions if you look hard enough. A lot of the major media players now have support for mp4 as well as the newer model dvd players. Just to clear some things up here, not every torrent containing a movie is illegal & not every video community shares pirated movies. To think this way is foolish. Quit labeling good people as criminals just cause you are uneducated on the matter & assume they download copyrighted material.
