Q: hi guys. i have a new 5.1 surround sound system and looking at the ports i can either use the scart leads or an optical cable for the sound. Vision is already sorted with my ps3 linked to tv through hdmi and its awesome. But my question is would i really feel a difference with an optical cable? and is the scart cables able produce 5.1? Thanks for reading.
A: You should use optical digital cable for the sound. There is a huge difference between optical and scart. Only optical gives you 5.1 surround sound.
